So I weigh myself every Monday. Last week my weight stayed the same. This week I’ve lost about a pound. At first I was all bhdafjw#! but then I remembered, duh Julie, you do a lot strength training too. So I took a closer look at myself. Yep, those are the beginnings of muscle on my arms and legs. I need to incorporate more cardio, though… I’m gonna dust off my ps2 and start playing DDR again. :D
I got dressed for work last night in a frenzy as I always do. I had to pause though after putting my shirt on. At first I didn’t think it was mine, then I looked down and saw the Modells logo. It was mine. And it fit loose. Just a month ago it was tight as hell.
I’ve been writing all my workout routines in my fitbook, but I haven’t been logging them here… hmm. I’m planning on making a charts for the following weeks to come, in case anyone is interested in my kind of workout. I don’t jump on elliptical machines or run on treadmills for 30 minutes. I sweat and cry in what little space my room provides, which I now dub the “torture chamber,” from anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes, depending on the type of workout.
Two type of workouts a week. One is strength with my sandbag. The other is BodyRocking.
For some reason, a bunch of the people I’ve been following have developed some unhealthy habits and mind sets or just enjoy causing drama and being rude or have no idea what they’re talking about. I’ve done a mass unfollowing and am ready for some new AWESOME fitblrs to follow. I want to be inspired, not annoyed when I look at my dash. So, amazing people, SHOW YOURSELVES! xoxo.
